Northern countries with high latitudes are naturally well adapted for the proposed solution all-the-more when they are gifted with continuous high winds all over the year like Scotland, Denmark or Sweden in Europe (Patagonia or New-Zealand in the Southern hemisphere).
Short duration of the day-time in winter and prevalence of rainy days all over the year make windmill heat production very attractive versus solar heating panels. Rather low temperatures in winter make heating of the buildings mandatory.
It could even be the unique solution for remote buildings far from conventional energies networks...
